Yasmin Le Bon launches YLB for Wallis

Yasmin Le Bon has been in the fashion industry for nearly thirty years and was one of the first super models. Today she is still instantly recognisable as both a fashion and style icon. Developing her career in another direction sees her joining forces with Wallis, the high street retailer, as she launches her first clothing line, YLB.

THE PERFECT FIT

Speaking exclusively to t5m, Yasmin tells us how, without the support of Sir Philip Green, she might never have got round to designing clothes and explains why she isn't ‘a very practical person'. Lucky that Sir Philip is adept at spotting a winner and seems more than convinced of her skill, describing her as the ‘perfect fit' for Wallis.

To toast the launch, Yasmin was joined by husband Simon Le Bon and her model daughter Amber, as well as close friends Lisa B and Gary Kemp.

ELEGANT COLLECTION WITH A TOUCH OF VINTAGE

Lisa described the collection as ‘feminine and strong - just like Yasmin' and also explained that Yasmin is a ‘wonderful collector of fabulous vintage pieces' - which have clearly influenced her range.
