What Trinny and Susannah Did Next
Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine, Britain's lifestyle queens, have been in the doldrums since ITV decided not to renew their contracts last year. But no longer. Eighteen months ago they decided to commission their own series, a fly-on-the-wall documentary, that will be broadcast over the internet on iVillage and on thegoodwebguide. Follow their antics as they piece together their lives and attempt the biggest makeover ever, of themselves.
The What Not To Wear duo, famed for their harsh (but fair) fashion advice reveal the unseen side of their 14 year partnership in this series. The series is modelled on Larry David's US comedy show Curb Your Enthusiasm, and charts their journey back to the top. Susannah Constantine said of the series, "It's been a deliberate break from being on network television. The audience does become jaded. We wanted to be at the forefront of another idea." That said, the famous duo have overseen the whole production from finance, sponsorship, advertising and distribution.
Are you ready? There are sixteen episodes in all and this is the second episode in full. You'll laugh, probably shed a tear or two with Trinny and Susannah but one of their greatest qualities is their ability to laugh at themselves. Read their blog on www.trinnyandsusannahwhattheydidnext.com.
Earlier this week, Trinny and Susannah caught up with thegoodwebguide and talked about the websites that are on their favourites list.
