Badly dressed men a thing of the past?
Men who struggle to match a tie with their shirt and who purchase unfailingly ugly shoes have no more excuses for sartorial inelegance with the launch of GQ magazine's new iPhone app.

HOW-TO GUIDES
Launched in partnership with Mr Porter, the men's arm of Natalie Massenet's famed Net-a-Porter site, the GQ Style Guide offers advice on ‘what to wear, how to wear it and where to buy it."
Updated daily by the GQ team, it covers everything from the best suits, shirts and shoes to the latest trends from the catwalk. Meanwhile, men in a fashion crisis can simply "Ask the Style Shrink," who will answer all their fashion questions and deal with any dilemmas, or look up the "How to Dress" section, where how-to guides for occasions such as weddings, dates and job interviews can help avert any fashion disasters. Also featured is a "My GQ" page, where men can save their favourite runway and fashion looks, and a "Stylepeda" quiz where they can test their burgeoning fashion know-how.

The only problem we foresee is that the type of man likely to sign up for this app is probably not the type of man to dress badly in the first place….
