Sue James, editor-in-chief of woman&home magazine

Sue James has been editorial director of woman&home magazine for the last decade and, under her leadership, it's become one of the biggest brands in the publishing industry. In 2007 she launched womanandhome.com, a website to compliment the print magazine and together the magazine and website have succeeded in capturing the zeitgeist of 35+ women of today. The numbers of readers and website users continues to grow by thousands each month and, for many women, woman&home and womanandhome.com are now their first port of call for tips and advice on fashion, beauty, food, entertainment and interiors.

Sue's original training was in fashion design and during her time as a fashion editor, she published two best-selling books on the fashion style of the late Diana, Princess of Wales.

SUE'S FAVOURITE SITES

The V & A - I'm a big fan of the V&A, and this website is a great way of keeping in touch with up-and-coming exhibitions and events. It's also a brilliant place for gift shopping - there's a fabulous range of jewellery, homeware, stationery, accessories and books that you can't find elsewhere.

Breast Cancer Care - This brilliant charity offers emotional and practical support to anyone affected by breast cancer - so important as 48,000 new cases are diagnosed in the UK each year. It's also where I go to buy Christmas cards, knowing the profits are going to a very worthwhile cause.

Jamie Oliver - A brilliantly diverse website, there's so much more than just Jamie's recipes, with everything from great gardening tips to a fab wine shop. The Jme range of kitchen gifts is also a good place to browse when buying for kids or foodie friends.

Amazon - I'm like our w&h readers and am absolutely passionate about books. I've always got a new novel on the go and am constantly getting new recommendations from friends, readers and our book editor. It's quick to order on this website and deliveries often arrive the next day.

Net-A-Porter.com - I'm a big admirer of this site as it's succeeded in making luxury fashion brands more accessible to millions of people. Like all genius ideas, the concept is so simple - creating an online one-stop-shop for designer labels...its millions of users are testament to how needed it was!

TripAdvisor.co.uk - This travel review website is the perfect place to research ahead of booking a holiday as it's packed with unbiased reviews from real people, plus photos and travel advice. And being able to compare prices with just one click makes it a brilliant consumer tool.
