Laurent Nurisso & Christopher Curtis

Laurent Nurisso and Christopher Curtis bring together an eclectic mix of design and decorative objects for the home at their design and concept store, Lifestylebazaar, based in London's new creative hub in Shoreditch.

The brand and the store itself is a mix of styles and features collaborations with new and talented designer makers that include: Andrew Tanner, Tina Tsang, Thelermont Hupton, IBride and The New English, to name just a few. Alongside them are well-respected brands such as Kartell, Alessi, Authentics, Joseph Joseph and Black+Blum. Laurent and Chris are always on the lookout for new and fresh design ideas, finding products for the home which are not seen on every high street.

LAURENT AND CHRISTOPHER'S FAVOURITE SITES

The Shoreditch Design Triangle - Organised by SCP. This year 34 shops, galleries and studios are hosting events. On Tuesday 20th September, most locations will be staying open late and hosting an array of special launches, parties and workshops. We are presenting a collaboration between French studio IBRIDE and Canadian artist Kelly McCallum. Kelly has transformed a polar bear bookcase into a modern day 'cabinet de curiosites'. It will transport the visitors into a world of dreamy or nightmarish mini-landscapes. Kelly used a mix of Victoriana, jewellery and taxidermy. Find out more on the Lifestylebazaar blog.

Designersblock - Every year it showcases brilliant, edgy designers and artists. It is always an interesting show for discovering new talent. Starting on Thursday, 22nd September at the Farmiloe Building in St. John Street.

Mint - Ok this is a recognised gallery but its shows are always challenging and interesting, this year - unconventional designers from Mexico to Beirut.

Tent London - This is very large show now, with over 200 companies and emerging designers exhibiting, which I always like to visit. The Tent team has a good eye for new talent. Also being in the Old Truman Brewery, there's a good atmosphere, not stuffy.

Outline Editions - Discovered this graphic art gallery in Soho. It is showing an artist called Noma Bar. So strong, simple and funny. Makes me smile!

Another Country - Beautiful modern solid wood furnitures made in the UK. Very simple yet sophisticated, great detailing.
