CORINA'S FAVOURITE SITES
Monocle - One neat package which covers everything from global affairs, design, and culture! I always buy this magazine whilst travelling and by the time I land my head is full of new knowledge. If that isn't enough Monocle has just launched Monocle24 a new audio service broadcasting 24hrs a day wherever you are. This is a brand that continues to excite and surprise me and I wonder what will be next.
Swedish Wire - I don't have a lot of time so this online service saves me trying to read various Swedish newspapers as it condenses the most important news in one place. A must read for any Swede living abroad interested in business and wants to stay informed.
Babiekins - There is a real explosion in online publications but this US magazine really stands out to me, pioneering what a great global magazine should be about. The photography and styling is outstanding and the coverage fresh, cosmopolitan and inspiring. A must read for me to keep up to date with global brands and new designers and be kept entertained by quirky family stories.
ShareMyPlayLists - When I'm office bound and not in the shop I can't work without music, and this is an amazing way of discovering new tunes. Log on, choose a playlist (that someone else has compiled) and within one click it's pulled into Spotify and you're listening to and discovering loads of new music.
i-escape - I was recommended this website almost 10 years ago by a friend and have been using it ever since. I have an unhealthy obsession with luxury travel and have always loved reading travel magazines or searching for holidays which I cannot afford - escapism at its best. It has been interesting seeing this site evolving from an independent quirky site to having recently been voted the best online booking service; A great example how a business can evolve in a competitive market.
Practical Ecommerce - The internet is moving at such a fast pace I sometimes find it hard to keep up. This is a great site for anyone wanting to broaden their knowledge of what works online! Written in practical, simple articles, it's a master class in ecommerce - essential in today's world of web!
