We’re addicted! Discover the best insta-interiors as picked by CLJ Home, interiors lifestyle brand.

Interiors on insta; it’s like an insatiable addiction. We’re always on the lookout for hot new designers to follow. One such style maven is up-and-coming interior designer Charlotte Lawson Johnston who recently launched her inaugural, CLJ Home Fabric Collection at the Salvesen Graham showroom. Charlotte was born and grew up in South Africa and attributes early memories as her primary influence. Her mother was always entertaining beautifully, yet on a shoestring; ‘There was always a stunning table awaiting people to entertain and I think that’s where my creativity emanated from.’ Here, Charlotte has sifted through Instagram to select her fave feeds for interiors inspiration.

@cabanamagazine

Cabana’s insta feed is astonishingly beautiful. The founder of this new stunning publication - Martina Mondadori - has a love of maximalism which has encouraged me (and I’m sure many other designers) to be much more bold and layer our homes with a mixture of prints and colours. The table settings are to die for and I just want to jump into my iPhone whenever there’s a new post!

@matildagoad

Matilda has taste. Really, really good taste! This is why I follow her. She is also a talented designer and my new obsession are her scalloped raffia lampshades. Matilda is a creative consultant too and pretty much everything she sells on her website makes me want to give my home a complete overhaul. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!

@roksandailincic

A fashion designer whose creations look almost edible. Roksanda somehow successfully creates graphic yet feminine clothes. I love what inspires her colour palettes and it is these posts from around the world of either art, architecture or landscapes which make me want to re-paint every room in my house - for example she recently posted a birds eye view of Lake Hillier in Western Australia and the colours are extraordinarily beautiful, take a look!

@quintessence

The strap line for the Quintessence blog is: Living well with style and substance. Stacey Bewkes writes about art and architecture to interior design and much more. She is chatty and yet informative too and I have learnt about many new designers from her feed. Every time I fall in love with one designer’s style and think, “this is it, this is how I’m going to live…” I discover another on here and I want to adopt a completely different design aesthetic!

@salvesengraham

Mary and Nicole must be the busiest interior designers I know of! To say they have their finger on the pulse in the world of Interior Design would be an understatement. What I love about their feed is that it is useful. They have a rolodex of industry contacts which they are constantly sharing with their near 10k followers on Instagram. We should all adopt their business mantra: share, collaborate and meet your competitors. I’m a huge fan of these two.
