Dad

If you're a dad, thinking of becoming a dad or attempting to become a dad, then this site will be of interest to you. The idea behind the site is simple. Information for parents is mostly information for mothers. Dad seeks to redress the balance by providing information from a father's perspective.

There is lots on Dad. As well as features and fact sheets, there are debates and surveys. There is even a Dad Shop! Content is organised by channels such as work, money and relationships, which are listed down the left hand side of the page. On the right of the screen, the current most popular articles are listed. The articles themselves are short, relevant, amusing and helpful.

Dad is very direct and to the point. It tells you what it can do for you - provide all the essential information for dads to be, give facts about health and education, offer advice for those fathers going through a separation. It also tells you what it can't do - provide an individual advice service - but it does direct you to those who do offer just such personal help.

Dad is a great idea and we are sure the caped crusaders from Fathers for Justice would be very pleased. However, the site itself is a bit messy and would benefit from a far less cluttered design.
