Tutorhub

Tutorhub is an online resource for school-age children to seek answers to their homework questions. If the child is still having problems and needs some one-to-one tuition, online tutors are available to lift the fog of misunderstanding, charging an hourly rate.

AN EDUCATIONAL CHATROOM

Kids can post their questions online and other site users or tutors can respond and try to help. Each question asked on Tutorhub will open up its own instant messaging chatroom, creating a forum for real-time discussions between students and tutors. Asking a question is simple, and just involves popping one into the Ask a Question bar on the homepage. The Ask a question facility is entirely free.

The site is designed to be fun and exciting for children to use, adding a sociable element to the daily homework grind. It may also be easier for some shyer children to ask questions in this kind of environment, rather than in a packed classroom.

SET UP AN ACCOUNT

To use the site you will need to set up an account, which only takes a moment. Parents can take control of the entire account and view completed tutoring sessions if they wish.

THE TUTORS

All of the Tutorhub tutors are experts in their chosen field; many of them being working teachers or university under / post graduates. All are CRB checked. Tutorhub is dedicated to upholding child safety standards on the site, so there is no need for parents to worry. Each tutor will dictate their own fee per minute, based on their experience and subject area. Choose a suitable tutor by having a look at each tutor's profile on the site.

Whether your child is struggling with maths homework questions, or needing help with English comprehension, there will be a tutor well qualified to help them out.
