Learnthings

Designed to cover every aspect of the UK's National Curriculum, this excellent site brought to us by the Guardian Newspaper promises to provide a great resource for school students, teachers and parents with online lessons and learning materials which are interactive and fun.


The site works on a subscription basis, with which one can gain access to either the Learnpremium (resources for the English curricula), Learnscotland (resources for the Scottish curricula) or Learnnewsdesk (a news service for 9 to 14 year olds, updated daily with top news stories) areas of the Learnthings site.



As one might expect from a Guardian Unlimited site, Learnthings benefits from the expertise gained over the years of publishing the Education Guardian, which appears weekly during term times. All aspects of the site have been evaluated by classroom teachers.
