LittleBig is an excellent idea, which immediately stands out from other parents' sites in the simple fact that it is aimed at adults (parents) and designed as such, with a sophisticated colour scheme (grey and white) and clear interface. You won't find bold primary colours or baby blues and pinks splashed around here, and this simple decision reflects the whole impetus behind this site: to escape bad design for children. LittleBig fulfills its mission by highlighting quality children's books, interior decoration, toys, eating utensils or high chairs and much more across an accessible online platform.

The magazine side of the LittleBig covers Design & Decoration, Art & Media, Lifestyle & Interiors. Within each of these sections, the site's editors have picked out children's designs, highlighting them via staple features such as Top Five, Furniture Focus or Ten Questions and additional pieces such as Bunk Mate: Ace Hotel Bunks or Sit Down: Chairs for Children. Running parallel with this section of the site is the shopping area, within which some of LittleBig's favourite designs for children are available to buy.
