Forest School Camps

This is the UK-based site for Forest School Camps, which originated in the 1930s. Forest School drew its philosophy from progressive education, the Woodcraft movement and the Quakers. They began in 1948, aiming to teach children independence, responsibility, resourcefulness, self-confidence, tolerance and respect. The site lists, amongst other things; annual camps and contacts, what you will need to bring and press coverage of their events.
