Terry Deary

Lots of fun for fans of Terry Deary's Horrible Histories, True Mysteries and Shivers, to name just a few of his creations. Details of all Terry's books can be found in the House of Books, together with some extracts. The House of Adventure is the place to visit for news of TV series, roadshows and plays. The House of Fun jokes page features Terry's particular brand of punning humour but, sadly, although The House of Chat offers lots of encouragement to post messages at the Young ABC Tales website, complete with a link, it no longer exists. The House of Mystery offers a web story and an interactive mystery, both of which can be downloaded if you have Acrobat Reader software, easily installed free of charge via the site. The whole site is presented in Terry Deary's inimitable style, its only drawback being the lengthy downloading of some story files. The Club House is currently closed to new members, but it's still possible to explore features such as the Party Page, for Deary-inspired games, food and stories, and read hints on writing your own Horrible Histories. You can also send Terry a question although any on school projects are very firmly banned.
