Roald Dahl Fans

Set up by Kristine Howard, an ardent Roald Dahl fan, this site may not include the fancy graphics of many Dahl sites but it can't be beaten for its attention to the tiniest details, even to the extent of including Roald Dahl's Guide to Railway Safety under Dahl's Works. The site includes a lengthy biography of Dahl, together with links to interviews and a set of detailed Timelines covering his work and personal life. Kristine has included the author's adult short stories, together with the films with which he was connected in the Dahl's Work section. There are a couple of crossword puzzles and plenty of trivia quizzes in Fun Stuff, although there's no chance of cheating as answers to the questions are not supplied. The site is extremely easy to navigate and there is a good deal of cross-referencing by hyperlink throughout.


Dahl's Work contains extraordinarily detailed information on Dahl's books, short stories and the films to which he contributed. The Anthologies page lists all anthologies which include a Dahl story.

In The Classroom features a well thought out page of information on how to set about homework based on Dahl's work, as well as a wide-ranging set of teaching resources.
