The Everyday Kitchen

Two of the Good Web Guide's favourites, Waitrose and Mumsnet, have been working together to produce a web series showing how quick and easy it is to cook delicious food that can become an everyday feature in your kitchen. By carefully choosing recipes that can fit into a hectic timetable, you can enjoy home cooked food all week.

GASTRONOMIC GOODNESS

Throughout the series (there are six webisodes in all), you'll be offered inspiration for your ingredients from Waitrose executive chef Neil Nugent, along with insights into gastronomic goodness with nutritionist Moira Howie. Everything is covered from how to take the stress out of Sunday lunch to bringing back the lost art of baking. Members of the Mumsnet community are put to the test in the kitchen and cook along with Neil.

The Lost Art of Baking explores how easy it is to cook a nutritious snack for your kids' packed lunch. Watch the video and see how to do it.

Becky Erwood, Senior PR Manager at Waitrose, said "Most of us with busy lives could use helpful and relevant advice on how to prepare tasty and nutritious food for all occasions. Through The Everyday Kitchen, Mumsnetters will be given the unique opportunity to share in the knowledge of Waitrose experts and see for themselves how to create delicious and nutritious food every day of the week."

Each video is accompanied by hints and tips from the Mumsnet community alongside recipes for the featured dishes, allowing viewers to have a go and follow along in their own kitchen.

Carrie Longton, co-founder of Mumsnet, said "Mumsnet is there to make parents' lives easier and anything that makes cooking easier is always welcomed. 'The Everyday Kitchen' is a lovely marriage of user-generated content and working with a brand that ‘Mumsnetters' are familiar with."

The first episode covers Family Cooking where viewers are shown how to cook a traditional hearty meal that will satisfy everyone.
