Farrow & Ball

Farrow & Ball claims to be the last remaining traditional paint and wallpaper manufacturer in Britain. The palette of unrivalled paint colours and wallpaper are made to time old traditional methods on site at their factory in Dorset. Keeping up with the times, their products are environmentally friendly, more of which can be read online.

They excel at what they do. Their website builds on these successes, bringing their full range to their valued customers, enabling them to learn more about the paints and what makes them so good.

Their success has been global: their products stand out a mile and their newly updated website makes for interesting reading, whether or not you are wanting to buy something. The site now has a magazine type feel to it where you can now read features on designers and completed projects using the company's products in Farrow & Ball Style. Under Product Advice, you will find advice sheets to help with choosing paint finish and primers. Farrow & Ball News is an ongoing section mentioning press coverage and newly launched collections.

Farrow & Ball offer a colour consultancy service and can advise on choosing colours and decoration schemes. They will visit you at home, discuss the project and assess your requirements and then come up with a unique design plan. A report summarises what you need, along with samples of suggested paints and wallpapers.

Click on Paint and Wallpaper for in depth product information. Choosing colours and wallpapers online is not the preferred option but nevertheless, you get some idea. In fact, the colours bear up pretty well against the printed versions. You can of course request free colour cards and samples of wallpaper online. Use the notebook for storing colour and wallpaper ideas. Order products online, by telephone or by visiting a supplier, of which there is a list on the site.

Sign up for the in-house magazine, Archive in Farrow & Ball News. The last edition was guest edited by Jeremy Musson, Architectural Editor of Country Life. It's a slick edition and well worth it, although much, if not all, of the content can be read online.

I live in Italy, ordered online and in 1 week I received everything. I ordered Estate Emulsion & it's worth the money. The result is spectacular. I called F&B for some advice & they were very helpful.
