The Stencil Library

The Stencil Library is accredited with being the world's leading designers and manufacturers of stencils and associated products. There are over 3,500 stencils available from their own range, all of which are available to buy online. The Stencil Library also has retail outlets in Europe, Australia, USA and Canada.

A visit to their website will soon see you falling over with inspiration. There are stencils for every room and whim, each shown in categories, from architectural, garden room, mosaic, Shaker to bad attitude. The alphabet stencils could see you decorating a wall with lines from a favourite poem, which could work very well in a garden room or conservatory. New stencils and products are added all the time and it is worth clicking on What's New. Some stencils are available uncut and you can therefore make some savings.

The Stencil Library can custom cut from a client's design as well. They also run courses and a decorating service.

Accessories include a CD Rom of the mail order catalogue (£6.00), which includes a photo tutorial showing basic techniques, as well as a printed catalogue. You can also buy 'The Stencilled House' by Helen Morris, the founder of The Stencil Library. A wide range of brushes, varnishes, gilding supplies are also available online.
