This vibrant, magazine-style website gives a good introduction to Crown's extensive range of paints as well as a wealth of advice on colour trends and decorating ideas. Since we first reviewed the website, it has become more streamlined and even better.

The highlight of the site can be found in Colour Creator, giving you the chance to play with colour schemes either using Crown's gallery of rooms or better still, your own rooms. It takes just five minutes to download the tool enabling you to paint like fury, albeit online, putting the rooms in your home through their coloured paces. Just take a photo, load it up onto your computer and hey presto.

Other sections on the site are extremely useful as well, imparting sufficient information in a concise manner. Colour Experience gives advice on preparation, the tools to use, various finishes and different paint types. There is also help with colour schemes. Trends looks at contemporary looks.

Fresh, modern and definitely magnolia free, this is a great site, which is packed with great pictures and still speedy with it.
