Habitat
To view this site, it helps to have Macromedia Flash Player as the site is full of bells and whistles. We find the flashing images and bursts of music distracting when all we want to do is have a good browse. The designer of the website has no doubt tried very hard to make the site cutting edge but it lets the products down. They should be the stars, full of colour and showing off their design but the overall effect is one of muted colours and it is a bit drab. A visit to your local Habitat is infinitely preferable to shopping online.
If you start looking through the products and need to retrace your steps, click on the icon in the left hand corner. Clicking on your computer's back page button will take you back to the homepage. The range online is extensive but it just looks unappealing.
To concentrate on the good things on the site, keep abreast with all that is new in the world of Habitat, click on Habitat Now. If you need to locate a store, use the map found in Stores and Careers, under Introduction. Signing up for newsletters will keep you up to date with what's hot and happening in store.

COMMENTS
A site worthy of a design award in its own right but it lets down the products that Habitat do so well.
