Ames Collection

The Ames Collection is an online gallery where you can purchase bespoke canvases of Caroline Ames' fabulous photographs of flowers. These ready to hang canvasses (50cm x 60cm) are very striking and vibrant, adding great presence to a room. A canvas costs £180 with p&p £20 (free delivery in SW London) and payment is by cheque only.

CHOOSE BY COLOUR

You will find the images available in the Gallery, which is divided into categories by colour. There is also a separate theme, the Devon Coast. Click on an image for a fabulous close up of Caroline Ames' talented work. Each category has up to ten images on show. We particularly like the snowdrop, Euphorbia and Hydrangea. The canvas, Stones, is very eye catching and look as though they have just been washed by the tide. More images will be added to the Gallery in due course.

THE CANVASES

The pure colours found in flowers are well suited to this medium of printing on canvas. Each canvas is done to order and takes around two weeks for delivery. The completed canvas is colour fast and resistant to the wet rub test. Fire retarding treatment can be applied if required. The image is stretched and wrapped around a solid wood frame, which includes a wall mounting bracket. Bear in mind that your canvas will differ slightly from the Gallery images online. You can see examples of this under the category entitled Product but the difference is minimal.

Caroline Ames can do larger canvasses and for this you need to email her as some images cope with enlargement better than others.
