NEW TV PROGRAMME
Christophe Edwards of Core One Antiques is taking part in a new series on antiques, Four Rooms, from the producers of Grand Designs and The Apprentice, starting in March 2011. Working behind the scenes, Christophe's brief from Talkback Thames is to locate objets d'art that will pique the interest of the four strong panel. The items can range from pop memorabilia to sculpture, a rare work of art valued between £5000 to infinity.
Members of the public will attempt to sell their objects to one of four top UK dealers on the show who are held in four separate rooms. The seller must accept the offer from the first dealer or gamble on one of the next three offers, which expire when the seller leaves each room. The four dealers taking part, who are specialists in their field, include Jeff Salmon, owner of Decoratum at Alfie's Antiques, Andrew Lamberty of Lamberty on Pimlico Road, Emma Hawkins with shops in Edinburgh and Dover Street Market and Gordon Watson also from Pimlico Road.
