A grand and expansive site covering Sotheby's worldwide operation. Unfortunately, it's rather slow to navigate even in the sparsely illustrated areas and can be difficult to sort the United Kingdom wheat from the rest of the world chaff. An attempt to find out about education programmes in the United Kingdom proved frustrating and, ultimately, disappointing as it contained only the briefest of details which excluded both cost and the names of the teachers. Sotheby's Connoisseur, their online magazine, is one of the highlights of the site. It is enthusiastically and informatively written by some of the world's leading experts in the fine and decorative arts. Also interesting, was the advice on 'collateralizing your collection'.
