Twice
A charming gifts and home accessories business, the concept for Twice began to take shape back in 2005, when Caroline Hoyer Millar began selling the hot water bottle covers made from old blankets that she had made for her children. More designs followed and in 2006 Twice was officially launched.
TRADITIONAL MAKERS, MATERIALS AND DESIGNS
In the early day, the business was all about recycling vintage fabrics, but after meeting the owner of the last major linen mill in Scotland and the owner of the last deerskin tannery in the UK, Caroline realised that traditional makers, materials and designers needed a bigger voice, less they die out for good. Twice is proof that contemporary isn't always best and its range now encompasses homeware, gardenware, accessories, clothing and fabrics - all of which have some link with tradition.
THE GOODS
Browse the Twice website to find everything from traditionally made cold-pressed soaps, handwoven rush log baskets, beautifully turned wood porridge bowls, traditional Stones furniture polish, Scottish leather belts, pure cotton woven shawls and much more besides.
