The Great Britain Philatelic Society is not the same as the National Philatelic Society or the Royal Philatelic Society (see below). Its emphasis is more on events and participation, as well as producing a Journal and a Newsletter, housing a Library and publishing Books.

The Royal Philatelic Society, London, has a very straightforward, attractive website. The Links section is good. Otherwise its website its mainly a route to finding out what is held in its own library collections, which would tell you whether a visit would be worthwhile.
