SPECIAL FEATURES

Gallery is where you can view Susie Cooper designs arranged chronologically, showing very clearly the evolution from an obviously Art Deco starting point to a more assured personal style. In the information area; Biography tells her life story, while in Archives there are several interesting articles, one of them being about recent Mabel Lucie Attwell fakes. In the Links section, the site's content is particularly excellent, and indeed valuable. It studies the work of several other designers besides Susie Cooper, such as Clarice Cliff and Keith Murray. Loading of all pages is gratifyingly rapid.

This tribute website may seem almost reverential at times but it still covers a lot of ground and is a good introduction to 20th century ceramics designers.
