Photographer George Herringshaw came up with the idea of posting at least one image of the great sports stars of the last thirty years, for posterity. It is a non-commercial site.

About Us explains the object of this website in more detail, including the policy about downloading images (permissable for personall use). The potted biographies that accompany the photographs are contributed by volunteers, and more are needed. Charity Information details the six charities that sponsor the website.
The sports represented are Athletics, Cricket, Football, Golf, Rugby and Tennis, and the photographs are all action shots of high quality. This website is still actively being developed.

As a reference base this already has value but it should develop into something even more useful as it builds up.
