Pamela Lucas, frustrated that there was no website that gathered together furniture resources on the internet, decided to create one herself. As Pamela is Michigan-based, it is no surprise that the majority of furniture and decorative arts dealers mentioned in her website are American.

There's also a Glossary of Modern Terms, starting with Art Deco, Bakelite and Bauhaus, and ending with two modern American designers, Edward Wormley and Russel Wright.

Museums & Exhibits and Regional Furniture Styles are other areas of the website worth exploring, though the emphasis here is heavily on American collections. Under Furniture Design, the first link is to contemporary American designers but The Eminent Designers ranges worldwide. You need to understand French to read the Articles About Furniture, as they are all taken from issues of the French magazine, Art & Décoration.

As indicated above, this appears to be the best furniture-dedicated website currently available. Its predominant focus on American furniture certainly should not deter any furniture enthusiast from exploring it.
