Arne Maynard

Arne Maynard runs a highly successful garden design practice based in London, working with gardens on a grand theme down to small urban plots.

Arne has a strong feel for a sense or place. His approach to design is holistic and a garden's relationship to the surrounding landscape, buildings and history is instrumental in the overall design and ensuing success. Arne has worked on high profile gardens as well as the more private and less accessible.

This slick website explores Arne's approach to garden design through four case studies whicn includes drawings, images and design briefs. The added fun is that you can zoom in and out on the images, soaking up some of Arne's inspired contemporary planting.

Arne has just introduced a range of products hand crafted in oak. This includes apple storage chests, cross-legged tables, fruit training posts and oak edging for creating raised beds.
