Trebah
Trebah Garden in Cornwall is apparently Alan Titchmarsh's favourite garden and it's easy to see why. Begun in the 1840s, this 26-acre ravine garden is filled with a collection of rare and exotic plants and trees running down to the Helford River.
The website is full of delight, with a map of the garden, a photo gallery of many of the beautiful plants to see, plants of particular interest, and a section on the flowers which can be seen throughout the year and the scents which you can savour if you visit.
There is also a section on the history of the garden, which has been lovingly restored by the owners over the last thirty years. Trebah is open throughout the year, and offers many events and resources for plant and garden lovers.
