Borde Hill Gardens

Borde Hill House, near Haywards Heath in Sussex, is a Tudor mansion dating from 1580 with a 17 acre garden, set in several hundred areas of parkland. This is their website.



The site has an inviting and jolly feel to it. For garden visitors, follow the links to all that there is to see from The Garden of Allah, the Rhododrendron Garden, the Italian Garden and the recently restored Rose Garden.



Trees and Plants, look here for the history of the garden, created at the end of the nineteenth century. It includes a diversity of trees many of which are listed as "Champions" in the Tree Register of the British Isles. Borde Hill is famous for its collection of azaleas and magnolias.



There are numerous Visitor Facilities, details of opening times and also of events held at Borde Hill during the summer, including Horse Trials, so something for all the family.
