Barnsdale Gardens

This site makes essential browsing for fans of Geoff Hamilton, the late presenter of BBC's Gardener's World and creator of the Barnsdale Gardens. There are detailed descriptions of each part of the garden he designed and made, although the text layout can be a bit haphazard. Use the links on the menu bar to get around the site.



SPECIAL FEATURES



The Gardens On the surface this seems a fairly multi-layered site but on closer inspection, this descriptive tour of Barnsdale is far and away the biggest and best part. Each section of the gardens, as designed and created by Geoff Hamilton before his death, is listed and described, with an overall map of the gardens for reference.

OTHER FEATURES


The gardens are open to the public every day, all year round except for 24th and 25th December. Directions and opening times are given, and all the relevant information needed if you plan to visit.
