Victoriana Nursery Gardens

Victoriana Nursery Gardens have been growing plants and seeds for over fifty years. With a family tree that traces back to seed merchants in the 1700's, the Shirley family opened their first nursery in 1958 and moved to Challock in Kent, where they are now based, in 1963. The business is run nowadays by their son Stephen, his wife and two small children.

PLANTS
From fuchsias to fruit trees, hedging plants to herbs, Victoriana Nursery Gardens have everything you need to create the perfect garden. With specialist plants for ponds, medicinal and healing plants, grape vines and exotic fruits, the range is far beyond your average nursery or garden centre.

VEGETABLES
Whether for your garden, allotment or smallholding, they have a range of vegetable seeds and vegetable plants to please. Everything in their vege section is produce that they personally grow and eat themselves, so they genuinely know the growing characteristics and flavour of what they sell. They have recently expanded their range to include even more delicious varieties.

GIFTS, BOOKS AND TOOLS
Find some fabulous presents for green fingered friends including tool sets and special occasion rose plants. Brush up on your horticultural knowledge with a range of gardeners books and magazines. They also have all the tools you need to care for and nurture your plants, including a range for children by Joseph Bentley of Sheffield.

Victoriana Nursery Gardens have special offers for anyone involved with a School Garden Club, the Allotment Society and smallholders wanting larger (but not quite ‘trade') quantities. They also offer a discount to Home Farmer Magazine readers.
