Adventures of Herman the Worm

This is a fantastic site from the University of Illinois which teaches kids all about soil science from the worm's eye view of Squirmin' Herman.

It covers many aspects of worms and soil including worm anatomy in My Anatomy and classification in My Family Tree. It's a fun, bright, easy-to-use site that includes animated graphics, interactive games, quizzes and extension links to other pages and sites. There is lots of information on starting a worm bin and email support if you decide to take the plunge.
