Odd Limited manufacture an upholstered swinging sofa which, in their words, is soon to become 'the Aga of the garden'. Their outdoor sofa is not the sort of thing you pick up at your local garden centre in gaudy stripes. Odd's Old Rocker smacks of elegance and a bygone era, of Pimms by the pool and lazy afternoons spent rocking gently in the shade of its awning.

We have Brigette Buchanan's old Aunt Trix to thank for Odd's Old Rocker. An heirloom passed down between generations has been turned into a thriving enterprise with the contemporary rocker handmade in England with a traditional beechwood frame and hung on a steel frame. Squashy cushions are covered in canvas that is both water and rot resistant. The canvas is available in five colours and has been specially dyed to give it that lived in look. Other fabrics are available, samples of which can be seen online. Assembly of the sofa is easy and no tools are required. The frame simply unfolds and locks into position. The sofa has been subjected to rigorous testing and passed with flying colours. Imagine the application of 16 stone, 25,000 times.
