Grow Your Own Garden by Carol Klein

A horticulturalist, broadcaster and writer, Carol Klein is familiar to most as a presenter on Gardeners' World, but also as the owner of a thriving nursery business, Glebe Cottage Plants, which she runs from her own garden in Devon. In her fourth book, Grow Your Own Garden: How to propagate all your own plants, she aims to teach fellow gardeners how to grow their own plants from scratch by uses, she attempng cuttings and seeds.

CLEAR & INFORMATIVE

An extremely detailed book, Grow Your Own Garden covers everything from nuturing seeds and growing new stock from roots, stems or leaves to dividing grasses or growing from bulbs, all explained in a clear, informative writing style with plenty of inspiring photography. This is an intimidating subject for many gardeners, but Carol demonstrates a relaxed ease and infectious enthusiasm that conveys just how simple and satisfying propagation can be.

SUSTAINABLE GARDENING

As a garden changes everyday, and there can be nothing more satisfying than collecting your own seeds and cuttings and starting your own network of plants. Regenerating your plants via propagations is not only sustainable gardening at its best, it lets the gardener go on a journey, taking on the role of nurturer as he or she guides plants from infancy until they are strong enough to fend for themselves. This is an excellent book, suitable for novices and experienced gardeners alike.
