STEFANO'S FAVOURITE WEBSITES

Digital Photography Review - In my spare time, I’m an amateur digital photographer so this site is invaluable to me. Digital Photography Review has been around for nearly twenty years and was one of the first mainstream sites to go live. Its passion for detail, quality content, timely updates and a huge community of users means I keep heading back time and time again.

Kickstarter - I’m a bit of a Kickstarter addict I must admit. It’s terrific to see so many new businesses in their infancy all in one place. It offers start-ups the chance to find funding and investors and allows consumers to show their support for new business.

NFL - I’m a huge fan of American Football and a member of the Seattle Seahawks 12. Nothing beats the official site in terms of coverage, content, quality and reliability of information.

IFLScience - My daily vice. A great place to find answers to a wide number of every day questions, with scientific explanations.

Skype - Video-calling and conferencing is here to stay. Skype has made video-conferencing accessible to businesses, both small and large, and allows them to offer face to face customer service. In the past, this would cost a great deal in terms of man-hours and time spent out of the office.

Alternative Addiction - This site is a great place for music lovers to discover new songs and artists, and purchase straight from the Apple iTunes store. It is my main source of inspiration for alternative music and the fact that it is run by true music aficionados provides the site with a constant stream of new and refreshing acts.

My favourite apps... Zite and Flipboard - It’s a bit cheeky to pick two, but I really wouldn’t be able to choose between Zite or Flipboard as my most used app. I regularly spend at least one hour per day late in the evening getting updates on financial, technological, and economics news and trends. They both highlight articles and contributions from a selected and customisable number of sources producing a personalised news channel with everything I find relevant and inspiring. The beauty of these apps is the way they find a perfect balance between quality, relevance, and discoverability.
