2016 has seen another stellar line-up of guest editors, who have shown us around their webs; their favourite blogs, apps, instagrammers and more. We've hosted cookbook authors, fitness experts, designers, bloggers, e-commerce experts and more, making our weekly slot one of those newsletters you're pleased to see in your inbox. More to the point, we've been introduced to new sites and people worth following.

These are the most popular guest edits in 2016, the pages that have been visited most but don't forget that our archive is stuffed full of interesting articles from other like-minded experts. Even if their selections haven't performed as well as the ones below, they too are worth checking out or re-visiting.

We always like to end the year on a culinary note, given that many of us are food focussed as the festive season approaches. Who better to turn to than Diana Henry, the award-winning food writer, journalist and broadcaster, who recently published her latest book SIMPLE. Diana's guest edit went live on 20th December and given that our visitors are so foodie focussed, it went into the lead almost immediately.

Travel has to feature in our most popular guest eds, and the co-founders of Secret Escapes, did the trick with our visitors. The London-based flash sales site for affordable luxury travel, offers its members exclusive deals on hand-picked hotels and holidays at up to 70 percent off. With thoughts of a spring break, this is the site to turn to.

We can't get enough of Headspace here at The GWG and we were so pleased when Sean Brecker, Chief Executive Officer said he'd like to share his web picks with us. For those of you who haven't been introduced to Headspace thus far, it is the meditation app dubbed ‘a gym membership for the mind', which has been downloaded over 6 million times.
