Wine-Encore offers a very useful service in that it monitors wine offers available from supermarkets and multiple retail outlets in the UK. They taste and review wines on discounted offers and then make weekly recommendations, presenting the information with brief tasting notes.


In doing this, Wine-Encore has built up a database of well priced good value wines. They aim to find quality and interest at an average price of £5 a bottle. Details given include offer period, along with any special conditions that may apply (extra discount if you buy more bottles).


The budget area is aimed at students and has some good suggestions, in particular on maximising discounts. Buy in bulk, just don't consume it all at once though.
