Pie Making Club London

Marika Gauci set up her successful small cookery school, Marika's Kitchen, in 2009 at her home in London, teaching a range of cooking classes from Greek, Mediterranean, vegetarian, to baking and pie classes. She quickly realised that there was a huge demand for her British pie making classes and decided to set up the Pie Making Club London by hiring a bakery so her students could really get a feel for the art.

PIE MAKING CLUB

The Pie Making Club holds classes on two Sundays every month at a bakery in Muswell Hill, north London. Twelve people get to grips with making pies, sweet and savoury, cooking the fillings and mastering the art of pastry making and rolling. The classes are very popular, get booked up well in advance and feedback from students is none other than glowing. Marika clearly has a knack, imparting tidbits of information as she teaches those assembled. Delia Smith and Olive magazine have joined the happy throng, endorsing Marika's classes.

In February 2011, Marika decided to open a Pie Making Club south of the river in Clapham. for more details on classes in South London, visit the site.

AND THE COST

These Sunday pie making classes last from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and cost £45 per person. Students get to wear proper pie making regalia, including hats and aprons. Children are welcome providing a parent comes along. Smaller classes of four can be arranged in Marika's own kitchen.

Location of the original Pie Making Club classes: The Bakers of Muswell Hill, Muswell Hill Broadway. London. N10
