Flash Grilling with Andi Peters
We've had flash mobs with groups of people getting together in public spaces, doing weird and wacky things and now we have Flash Grilling. Use social media to get your friends together and have a barbecue. Andi Peters has lent his name to this new trend which is hoped will sweep the nation whilst at the same time promote Red Tractor beef and lamb, meat that is responsibly produced.
RED TRACTOR
The Quality Standard for beef and lamb is the scheme, giving you assurance that the beef and lamb you buy is from a dependable source. All beef and lamb carrying this mark is chosen according to a strict selection process to ensure it is succulent and tender. Quality Standard beef and lamb is produced to higher standards than required by law with a supply chain which is fully assured and independently inspected at every stage from farm to meat counter.
The QSM also tells you where your beef or lamb is from. As an example, meat from an animal born, raised and slaughtered in England will carry the Quality Standard beef or Quality Standard lamb Mark indicating English origin with the St George's flag. If an animal cannot meet all the criteria, for example - it is born in Scotland or Wales, it will be able to carry the Quality Standard Mark but indicate British origin with the Union flag.
