Ocado

Waitrose's partner supermarket service Ocado deliver Waitrose groceries to a wide range of postcodes up and down the country. Recently awarded Online Retailer of the Year 2007, the company prides itself on order accuracy and the one hour delivery slots offered. First time users can browse the site which is well laid out.

As with other sites, ordering what you want from Ocado is fairly simple - simply choose which categories of groceries you're looking to buy from and then choose from the individual products that are listed. The site suggests wine and other products that go well with what you've chosen. There are also special offers. If something you have ordered online isn't in the shops, a substitute item will be offered to you when your groceries are delivered. Delivery occurs at a time that you will have chosen from a number of options having completed your order.

Minimum order value is £40 and a delivery charge is made on orders under £75. This surcharge is compulsory in certain areas and in chosen time frames, when demand is higher. Access to this information is only available once you have registered.
