A butcher could not ask for more press than F.C. Phipps has received in the past few years. It just keeps on coming, with awards and recognition for all their good work flying in. F.C. Phipps is a family run business, established fifty years ago in the fenland of Lincolnshire. They are one of the few self-sufficient butchers who have their own small abattoir ensuring that stock is well tended for until their last.
Eric and Beth Phipps' most prestigious accolade came from Country Life when they won the award of Britain's Best Butcher. This gave them national recognition for the quality of service that they provide to their lucky customers. They have recently been visited by Rick Stein for his forthcoming television series on British food.
The website, which has a homely feel to it, was launched at the end of last year and has witnessed an increasing number of orders for the fine meat and game that they offer.
