Sarah Wadd, the company's founder, was heavily influenced by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Rick Stein and has sought out some interesting producers whose food will tempt your taste buds, some of whom are not on our database. The company works closely with the producers, ensuring that high standards of animal welfare are adhered to and that quality would never be sacrificed for profit.

Orders are delivered by courier and customers need to have their order in place by 8.30 a.m. on Thursdays for delivery on Thursday the following week. Delivery is £7.99 and for orders over £75, there is no charge. The company asks that orders exceed £20, excluding delivery charges, in order that they can cover their costs. If you live within a ten mile radius of Woburn, Provenance Fine Foods will deliver for £4.99.

ORGANIC DELIGHTS

Daylesford Organic Farms feature large on the site with their fabulous range of organic meat, which can be bought by cut or joint (up to 2.5 kg) or as a monthly meat box, delicious French Sassos chickens and other assorted produce. Mrs. Huddleston provides jams, marmalades and chutney with Belvoir Fruit Farms supplying their delicious range of cordials. Steenbergs supply their organic tea and spices with award winning Fairtrade coffee from the Purosa Estate in Papua New Guinea from Origin Coffee.

FOOD MONTHLY

Rated by the Observer Food Monthly, the one man pies from Pieminster look very appealing with the Chicken of Aragon pie heading our list. Pop them into the freezer for instant suppers. Smoked fish from the Organic Smokehouse in Shropshire, Stokes' mayonnaise and sauces, cheese from the Fine Cheese Company all make for providing the fininshing touch.
