London's esteemed cheese and wine emporium is distinguished from many ordinary cheese stores in that it maturesmany cheeses to perfection on their premises. It is claimed - though not here - that the company supplies more Michelin-starred chefs than any other cheese supplier. But fromage is not all that you'll find here: there's also antipasto, rice, seafood and preserves, plus a range of fine wines. Unfortunately, you do have to buy preselected kits, boxes or hampers such as the 'aperitif selection', which has a range of nibbles that you can serve with drinks. Also, note Jeraboam's cheese club, in which a board of seasoned, perfectly ripened and hand-chosen cheeses are delivered monthly for £22.50 per box.
