Sausage Links

A site devoted in its entirety to the sausage. Sausages are one of the nation's favourite food, generating a market worth £500 million per annum. The site acts as an online guide to buying, eating and cooking sausages, with the emphasis on high quality food. Sausage Links are particularly interested in organic, rare breed and free range sausages made by independent producers.


In the search for the ultimate sausage, they have travelled over 8000 miles and tasted countless brands, bringing you a directory of 200 of Britain's best producers. Search for a producer near you or nominate your favourite sausage maker.


Every sausage is tested, evaluating taste, texture and fat content. A high number are already award winners, either accredited by the Soil Association or the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.


They have tried supermarket sausages, with two trials already completed. Waitrose and the Co-Op top the charts in the premium plain pork section. Trials are conducted all the time and more information will be added to the site on this score.
