Gizzi's Kitchen Magic

A bright and cheery book with more than a dash of sparkle, Gizzi's Kitchen Magic is full of techniques and tips to help give amateur cooks more confidence in the kitchen, coupled with an array of tempting recipes, inspired by Gizzi's trips around the world, her favourite London restaurants and her own experiments with flavours.

FOOD COLUMNIST & PRESENTER

Having trained at the prestigious Leith's School of Food and Wine, Gizzi went on to work at BBC Good Food magazine and is now a regular chef on GMTV and This Morning. She is the food columnist for Company magazine and has contributed to Marie Clarie, InStyle, Elle USA and Arena among others. She is probably best known however as one of the presenters on Channel 4's Cook Yourself Thin and author of the bestselling book by the same name.

DELICIOUS RECIPES

In this, her second book, Gizzi breaks down recipes into broad food groups, including Soups & Salad, Fish & Shellfish, Vegetables, Curry, Rice and All Thing Spicy, Sauces, Jam & Preserves and many others. Within these, delicious looking recipes including Earl Grey Chocolate Fudge Cake, Parma Ham & Sage-Wrapped Veal with Tomato Spaghetti and Dead Posh Cheese & Truffle Souffle for Two are carefully broken down with easy to follow instructions, and prep, cook and rest times included to help you plan your meal with ease.

SEX IT UP

Look out for friendly touches throughout the books, such as the ‘Sex it Up' symbol, which offers ways in which to enhance given recipes, or the ‘Why Not Try?' symbol, which suggests alternative ingredients or additions to adapt different recipes. The start of each chapter features Tips & Tricks to help you perfect skills such as Bread, Cakes, Biscuits, Poultry etc. Before you know it, you may have found a little kitchen magic of your own.
