The name has been circling in fashion Venn diagrams for quite a while - the website that offers up one gargantuan wardrobe of high end fashion, second hand but in excellent condition. It looks like an offshoot of net-a-porter; all black and white minimalism and well edited images.

The system works like this: you upload your item, fill in all the relevant information - a seriously quick process that takes no more than 5 minutes per item. Vestiaire Collective will ask you to take the first image against a black background in order to suitably crop the image themselves and then they vet, finally after minimum 30 mins the item appears online. They'll even recommend pricing and tell you if you've priced it too high.

Now for the but, while the system is seriously user friendly, and elegant as hell - the fees are well take a deep breath. This is no eBay. We're talking 30-40% at the point of sale. If it doesn't sell, well there's nothing to pay. What the service offers is access to those fashionistas that are willing to pay a high premium for well known brands and more niche fashion that your local second hand shop wouldn't recognise and pride accordingly. If you want to double your chances of selling, list on eBay at the same time.
