One Hundred & Forty Characters exhibition by Chris Floyd
As go about your daily business, do you ever find yourself spending more time interacting with strangers online than you do with your real friends offline? When British photographer, Chris Floyd found himself doing exactly this via social networking site, Twitter, he decided it was about time to put some faces to those names.

One Hundred & Forty Characters is his photographic project and exhibition (being held at London's FOTO8 Gallery, 3rd-17th November) in which Floyd has photographed 140 of the people that he follows and communicates with regularly on Twitter. Taking its title from the micro-blogging site's famously concise character limit on messages, One Hundred & Forty Characters is testament to the social effects of the digital age and the changing ways in which we interact with those around us.
