Ministry of Sound
Since débuting on the internet in 1996, the trance/techno/house behemoth of the British dance music movement has built up an impressive dance lifestyle site, covering festivals, Ibiza, tunes, reviews and where it thinks it's at across nine channels. Jump into Music, Clubs or Life channels from the links on the left hand-side of the page, or head to specific topics via the picture links in the main body of the page. The site is rich in audio-visual content, albeit a little too rich in advertising banners. There are archived webcasts of the Ministry's various nights, from hard trance to old skool house and beats'n'breaks, links to DJs' own sites, a hefty serving of interviews and performances, and a wide cross-section of downloads. You can even hunt out holiday bargains here, and, of course, should your ideal holiday involve being mashed in the sun, there's full audio-visual coverage of the Ibiza scene. There's a nice Ministry Mugshots section too, where you're invited to 'laugh at other people's expense'. Gurning to go.
