Mean Fiddler
From little indie acorns, swanky cyber-spectacles can grow. This website for the London bar (Point 101, Ion bar/cafe), gig (venues such as The Forum, Garage, Jazz Café) and festival (FLEADH, Homelands, Jam in the Park, Reading) promoters loads up with a snazzy sci-fi design; once you're inside, though, it's clearly not a case of style over content. There's news on the Mean Fiddler's venues, archive footage from Reading, links to buy tickets, general information and maps. There's a bit of history, too: did you know that the Astoria used to be a Crosse and Blackwell pickle factory? Navigation is nice and smooth.
